Our March Topic - When Labor Standards Comes Knocking - An Inside Look at the Government's Process for Investigating Fair Employment Charges
We all know that Wyoming is an 'employment-at-will' state, but there are still state and federal laws that employers must obey when it comes to hiring, firing, and disciplining employees. So what happens when a current or former employee files a charge of discrimination with the EEOC? How does Wyoming Labor Standards fit in this process? Even for a seasoned HR professional, the process can be confusing. The easiest way to explain it is this: there is one main road as the investigation proceeds, but there are many different twists and turns. This session will provide an invaluable insiders perspective on how Labor Standards evaluates and investigates discrimination claims so youcan navigate the process with confidence.
