PROGRAM:
Getting Them On-board: Looking at How We On-board and Integrate New Employees
On-boarding is something many companies take for granted, but is ultimately one of the most crucial parts of the hiring and retention process. Employees who are not integrated into the company and culture are more likely to leave quickly, more likely to be disengaged and more likely to not be productive in their jobs. This class will look what it means to create an effective on-boarding program, what the timing of an on-boarding program should include, who should be involved and how to make it work for your environment.
PRESENTER:
Brittany Ashby
Brittany has over 10 years of experience working with organizations to improve outcomes at the employee, organization and community levels. With a passion for helping organizations look for ways to improve and facilitating change, her resume includes employment in the University of Northern Colorado Development Office and at the prestigious El Pomar Foundation in Colorado. Brittany has also spent a great deal of time helping businesses of all types with human resources issues ranging from training to hiring employees. She holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification, a SHRM-SCP certification and is a member of Frontier Human Resources and SHRM. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Colorado at Boulder; and she holds an MS from the University of Wyoming in adult education and learning technologies.
