    Employer Information Seminars:  The public seminars feature agency program subject matter experts and are aimed at helping Wyoming employers enhance their knowledge regarding important law changes, improving workplace safety and many other programs and processes that are pertinent to the state’s employers. The seminar will focus on workforce training programs, OSHA consultation, unemployment insurance taxes, claims and appeals, Workers’ Compensation requirements, labor standards, risk management, labor market information, and more.  Contact Bill Schepeler at 307-777-8717.  Scheduled dates will be released January 2014.

    WY-CO Workforce Partnership is a collaboration of Workforce Centers in Boulder, Larimer, and Weld Counties in Northern Colorado and the Cheyenne office of Wyoming Workforce Services representing South Eastern Wyoming.  The purpose of the WY-CO Workforce Partnership is to strengthen services and resources for employers and job seekers throughout the region.  Contact Brenda DePue at 307-777-3729 for details.

    • Communicating for Leadership Success 
    • This course introduces leaders to the essential interaction skills that are critical to leadership success. These Interaction Essentials are the core behaviors that leaders need to be effective in the many situations they handle on a daily basis, such as coaching ,delegating and driving change. This foundation course is a prerequisite for many of the courses in the Leadership Academy series.

    L.E.A.D. Tier 1 & 2 (Leadership Education and Development)

    This program is Tier 1 of LCCC’s new supervisory education program. The six modules in this program are key to leadership success and include: Resolving Conflict, Behavioral Based Interviewing, HR Management, Coaching for Peak Performance, Managing Performance Problems and Driving Change.

    This program is Tier 2 of LCCC’s new supervisory education program. The six modules in this program are key to leadership success and include: Project Management Essentials, Motivating Others, Problem Solving, Building Trust, Teamwork, and Adapting Your Leadership Style.

    Microsoft Office Certifications: LCCC is now offering the opportunity to train in Word, Access, Excel and Powerpoint and also test for a Microsoft Offer User Certification.

    Safety Trainings: LCCC is expanding its OSHA and other safety class offerings. With a minimum of 8 students, classes can be scheduled at the convenience of the employer.
