    Laramie County Community College Outreach and Workforce Development Upcoming Classes 

    NEW!  Disney© Approach to Quality Service Virtual Training

    Early Bird Discount: $299 if registered by December 15, 2020

    (pay $399 after that)

    January 28, 2021 (Thurs) 9am-2pm

    Participants will examine time-tested Disney© strategies that help create world-class service. Spend one day with the Disney© Institute and you will learn to think differently and benefit from Disney© insights on quality service. 

    Participants will determine how they can drive service differentiation, develop quality service standards, utilize tools to deliver exceptional service, and learn how to recover from a service failure.

    Commercial Driver Learner Permit (CLP) $349

    November 9-13, 2020 8am – 5pm CCI 123

    This is a 28-hour Class A program for those who do not hold a commercial learner permit (CLP).  Successful completion of the program qualifies graduates to operate a commercial vehicle as a learner when accompanied by a driver who

    holds the proper endorsements for the vehicle on which they are training.  Daily classes are 7 hours in length with a general review prior to when the student takes the test on the last day of class at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). 

    Graduates who pass the test receive a Class B or Class A learner’s permit from the DMV.  Students must obtain a medical certification prior to testing. Register Here for CLP Classes

    Coaching for Peak Performance Zoom Class $139

    10/27/20 (Tue) 1pm-5pm

    This training will help leaders handle both proactive and reactive coaching discussions. By understanding the importance of four coaching techniques, learners can have more effective and efficient interactions.

    Since both proactive and reactive coaching discussions can be challenging, participants will use their own situations to make the course very relevant.

    Computer Classes

     

    Excel Intermediate Zoom Class $99 

    10/27/20 & 10/28/20 (TW) 9am – 12pm

    Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to leverage the power of data analysis and presentation in order to make informed, intelligent organizational decisions.

    CompTIA Security+ Online Class $1,900

     

    Access Advanced Zoom Class $99 

    11/10/20 & 11/12/20 (TTH) 9am – 12pm

    In this Zoom class you will: customize a form layout to improve usability and efficiency of data entry. Share data across applications. Use macros to improve user interface design.

    Use VBA to enhance tasks. Organize data into appropriate tables to ensure data dependency and minimize redundancy. Lock down and prepare a database for distribution to multiple users.

    Create and modify a database switchboard and set the start-up options.
