    Talent Management Coordinator - Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming

     

    Location:                         Home Office, Cheyenne, WY

     

    Work Hours:                    Full TIme: 40 per week

    Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

     

    Pay Rate:                            Monthly Salary Benefit Package

    Requirements:                   Bachelor’s degree (typically in business, psychology, or social science) required. SHRM or HRCI Certification strongly preferred. Current valid driver’s license is required. Three to five years of experience in a Human Resources, Learning/OD, or Talent Management setting is required.

    Previous experience in capturing metrics and producing various employment reports preferred. Previous experience or academic preparation for Affirmative Action Plan oversight and administration preferred. Previous experience with development and delivery of training/education programs preferred.

     

    GENERAL PURPOSE

    Under general supervision, provides assistance and benefit/project coordination between Human Resources and other departments. Accepts and completes assignments from Human Resources Department management in the administration of recruitment, employee relations, training and benefits.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Through collaboration with management, identifies anticipated training needs based on human resource initiatives, legal and regulatory changes, career development needs, and otherfactors.
    • Coordinates with management to ensure the development and on-going maintenance of job descriptions and relatedmaterials.
    • Coordinates the processes associated with BCBSWY Performance Evaluations, including distribution of materials, supporting supervisors, and tracking the return of all requireddocumentation.
    • Serves as a business partner with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in client satisfaction. Develops effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to have influence and a positive impact on the recruiting process andhiring.
    • Coordinates the overall recruitment process, including but not limitedto:
      • Coordinate the sourcing of candidates using electronic, social media, and in-person methods with a goal of ensuring a diverseworkforce.
      • Development of required job posting advertising both internally andexternally.
      • Participation at job fairs and other similar recruitmentevents.
      • Maintenance of Applicant Trackingrecords.
    • Coordinates activities intended to improve employee relations within the BCBSWYorganization.
    • Serves as a primary point of contact for employees pursuing Leaves of Absence, to include FMLA and Personal Leaves. Maintains knowledge levels of state and federal regulations related to leaves, and shares that information with supervisors and employees to facilitate compliance and improveunderstanding.
     
    • Foster and maintain positive relationships with Human Capital Management (HCM) system constituents, including senior management, leadership, and staff-level customer base. Assists with the ongoing development and adoption of the HCM system as a key management and communicationstool.
    • Assists with the development of effective programs for workforce retention, promotion, and successionplanning.
    • Engages in all job responsibilities with a positive, encouraging demeanor andmindset.
    • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to assigned duties and HR practices in general, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatorycompliance.
    • Communicates and coordinates with management and temporary employment agencies regarding staffingneeds.
    • Responsible for tracking of temporary contract positions, coordination of temporary contractemployment placement, and reviewing of all temporary contractor timecards foraccuracy.
    • Coordinates with the Employee Services Coordinator to maintain assigned portions of the applicant flowprocess.
    • Tracks employee training documentation for URAC accreditation and otherpurposes.
    • As assigned, represent Human Resources department at internalmeetings.
    • As assigned, participate in, or coordinate, public facing events and campaigns on behalf of BCBSWY.
    • Maintains confidentiality and uses discretion when dealing with all Human Resources matters and in the maintenance/filing of documents in Human Resourcefiles.

    OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assists in various audits throughout theyear.
    • Active member of Wellness Committee, Employee Benefit Association, and other employee-facing groups and/or committees.
    • Assists with compensation and Human Resources related surveys, reports, and employmentverifications.
    • Other duties and responsibilities asassigned.

     

    SUPERVISORY DUTIES

    This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

    EDUCATION, LICENSURE, OR FORMAL TRAINING:

    MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:

    Standard office equipment.

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

    Works in an open office environment. Physical activities include, but are not limited to, keyboard and calculator manipulation, carrying listings and reports short distances to other departments and telephone use. Physical activity associated with company sponsored events/activities and attendance at off-site job fairs and training sessions that may require lifting, setting up and dismantling of displays or other items weighing up to 50 pounds.  May be required to work, periodically, during evening and weekend hours. Occasional travel including overnight travel may be required.
