Resource Fair at Wyoming Medium Correctional Institute Slated for August 21st - HR Volunteers Needed
The Wyoming SHRM State Council Diversity initiative is seeking HR professionals to assist in an event to help inmates transition from prison to community. Finding employment is a key factor in their success. The Wyoming Department of Corrections is hosting a Resource Fair for inmates within one year of release. This fair will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington, Wyoming. During the event, HR professionals will talk to inmates about job interviewing skills, how to write a resume and what to tell employers regarding their conviction.
