Dear SHRM Members,
We are excitedly making the final preparations to bring SHRM’s 2019 Annual Conference & Exposition to Las Vegas. There are still opportunities to volunteer if you haven’t already applied and selected your shift(s).
In exchange for your Volunteer service, for every shift worked, Volunteers receive:
One Shift Worked = 1 Free Day of Attendance or a Discounted Full Conference Registration
Two Shifts Worked = 2 Free Days of Attendance or a Discounted Full Conference Registration
Note: Volunteers can also attend the conference for free before and/or after their shift(s), so even “during conference” Volunteers can enjoy the conference on their volunteer day(s)!
Volunteering is a three-step process:
Submit your Volunteer Application
Self-schedule your shift(s) (Instructions will be sent to you once your Application has been processed)
Download and submit your Volunteer Registration Form to SHRM (Instructions will be sent to you once your Application has been processed)
Remember to write down your username and password for your records and to bookmark http://www.shrmvolunteers.com to find the latest information regarding conference volunteers.
Once your application has been processed (typically within 1-2 business days after receipt), you will receive a “Your Application was Processed” email and then you will be able to schedule your desired shifts online (Step 2) and submit the Volunteer Registration Form (Step 3). Instructions for Step 2 and Step 3 will be included in the “Your Application was Processed” email.
Additional volunteer details are available on the SHRM Volunteer Website: www.shrmvolunteers.com.
Stay connected with SHRM on social media--monitor #SHRM19 and join the conversation. We look forward to volunteering with you and making this a wonderful conference for all attendees!
Sincerely,
Your SNVSHRM Co-Chairs, Connye Harper and Sonya Mayfield
and your SHRM Volunteer Logistics Team
