    The Director of HR & Learning is a seasoned HR Business Partner who shares the responsibility for the goals and objectives of the organization. S/he is responsible for human resources operations for WyHy FCU. Manages, communicates, and provides guidance on human resource services, initiatives, performance management, training, and programs to all team members. Manages daily activities related to human resources, including authoring, implementation, and ensuring compliance to human resource policies, programs and practices. Develops, maintains and monitors risk management training programs for the credit union. Reviews all HR-related policies of the credit union, assessing the need for additional policies and keeping existing policies current. Supports and consults with various levels of leadership as appropriate. Collaborate with leadership to assess training needs, develop training programs, and manage LMS. Works collaboratively with the management team to develop and oversee strategic initiatives relating to human resources.

    Required license or certification:  HR Certification

    Required experience:

    ·         LMS Management: 1 year

    ·         Human Resources Management: 5 years

    ·         Training & Development: 3 year

    Essential Functions

    1. Collaborate with senior management to deliver high quality internal service to WyHy employees
    2. Effectively communicate employee needs to senior management while balancing organizational objectives and business goals
    3. Ensure compliance with state and federal employment regulations while establishing an effective organizational culture for employee success
    4. Administer the Personnel Policies, Employee Handbook, Staff Development Program
    5. Residing in or near the Cheyenne area is required.
    6. Occasional travel outside the local area and overnight is required. Extended hours are frequently required.

    Education and Experience

    Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for educational requirements.

    Physical Requirements

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds may be required.
