    Your Tasks
    We are seeking qualified candidates for a Human Resources Manager position in Cheyenne, WY.
    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
     Promote a culture of integrity, cooperation, involvement, trust and mutual respect among staff, management and production personnel.
     Manage recruitment process to meet business requirements. Gather intelligence of local job market conditions and develop appropriate recruitment and retention strategies while controlling recruitment costs.
     Provide leadership to continuously improve the safety culture. Identify opportunities to reduce risk exposure. Effectively manage health and compensation claims including return-to-work programs.
     Counsel and mentor employees. Actively guide local managers and supervisors regarding employee relations issues and the administration of voestalpine Nortrak policies. Ensure that the application of policies and discipline are fair and equitable. Advise management regarding regulatory and statutory requirements.
     Oversee payroll, benefit and reporting process to ensure accurate and timely submissions, including administration of HRIS and benefit programs, vacation, leave of absence, FMLA, attendance, hires, promotions, transfers, terminations and performance evaluations. Maintain all records in conformance with voestalpine Nortrak's quality system.
     Manage the safety program, including compliance with all OSHA and other Health and Safety regulations.
     Collaborate with Operations management in the development of job skill matrices. Maintain skills inventories. Develop, identify and implement training programs.
    Desired Skills and Experience:
     The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
     Your Profile
     Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar field and 5+ years of relevant and progressive Human Resources management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, including proven ability to provide creative strategies to maximize plant performance. SPHR certification preferred.
     Strong understanding of benefits administration and all regulations and compliance requirements.
     Extensive knowledge of recruitment strategies and processes.
     Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization, both in written and verbal settings.
     Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws, as well and OSHA and other Health and Safety regulations.
     Experience developing job skills matrices, creating training materials and conducting training classes with peers and subordinates.
     Strong MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills, good knowledge of HRIS systems, preferably the HRIS software from SAP. What we offer
