    Simon Contractors is looking for a Human Resources Intern!

    This position is available to start immediately with either part time or full time hours.

    Summary: Under direct supervision, assists department carry out various human resources programs and procedures.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned:

    • Receive recruitment requests and prepare job descriptions for review and approval.

    • Recruit for open positions using a variety of online and print sources to ensure compliance with EEO and Affirmative Action requirements.

    • Maintain the applicant flow log using an applicant tracking system.

    • Process benefit enrollment forms.

    • Assist with processing hire and term paperwork for employees.

    • Performs data entry functions for various HR data bases.

    • Prepares and updates new hire packets.

    • Assist with preparation of government required reporting and various surveys.

    • Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

    Education/Experience:

    • Enrolled in a Business or Human Resource Management degree program.

    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook required.

    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving history

    • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

    • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms.
