    COMPENSATION: $100-115K Base + Bonus
    RELOCATION: Yes-Company Paid

    SUMMARY: Reporting to an Operations Vice President, with a dotted line to corporate Human Resources, this position will have responsibility for labor and employee relations for a 300+ employee unionized plant operation, including: day-to-day contract administration/interpretation, grievance process, arbitration preparation and corrective actions; employee relations for salaried/non-union staff; staffing and administrative support. Labor relations will comprise the majority of the day-to-day responsibility of the function. The position will supervise subordinate staff.
    Minimal travel required.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Requires BS/BA degree, with a minimum of 10 years overall Human Resource experience, including: managing the labor & employee relations function in a unionized plant environment (experience in petro-chem or related process-based industry a strong plus); hands-on labor relations skills, including contract interpretation, grievance process, arbitration prep, corrective actions negotiation team experience a plus, and working to further a collaborative relationship between union and management; coaching management team on labor relations issues and compliance; knowledge of applicable labor relations laws & regulations; working with salaried and support staff on employee relations issues; plant staffing initiatives, including competency-based interviewing process; demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both management team and union staff; detail oriented and strong reasoning/assessment skills; demonstrated leadership ability and experience in managing subordinate staff; computer proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and experience with HRIS.
