Stay Interviews

Many organizations utilize exit interviews when an employee has decided to leave the business as a mechanism for collecting feedback regarding their experience on the job. What if there was a way to collect feedback from current employees regarding their experiences to prevent them from leaving the organization? Stay interviews are an excellent tool, which can be utilized throughout the employee lifecycle from recruitment through separation to gather feedback and input from employees to provide organizations with the information they need to improve the human resource function and employee engagement.

Presenter Penny Fletcher, PHR, SHRM-CP
Penny’s career has included roles as teacher, trainer, and Human Resource professional for almost 30 years. During her tenure in Human Resources she worked for a variety of industries including education, law enforcement, and hospitality. She has been an active SHRM member in both Texas and Wyoming. Most recently serving as the President and Past-President of Frontier Human Resources Association, the local SHRM affiliate. Penny obtained both her PHR and SHRM-CP credentials, and currently teaches HR courses for credit and not credit students at the local Community College.
