    The Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938

    This presentation is designed to provide attendees a better understanding of ensuring compliance with the FLSA’s minimum wage, overtime, record keeping, and child labor provisions.  The speaker is dynamic and extremely well-versed in the field; you do not want to miss this insiders' information.




    Kendrick Ladd – Investigator; US Dept. of Labor - Wage & Hour Division

    Kendrick Ladd is the Investigator for the U.S. Department of Labor – Wage & Hour Division (WHD) in the Casper, Wyoming Field Office. The Casper Field Office has jurisdiction over federal labor laws in Wyoming. WHD administers and enforces a number of federal laws, to include the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, certain employment standards and worker protections under the Immigration and Nationality Act, and Government contracts prevailing wage statutes such as the Davis-Bacon and related Acts and the McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act. Kendrick began his career with the Department in 2016 as a Wage and Hour Investigator following his service as a U.S. Army Officer. Kendrick earned his B.S. in American Legal Studies, Counter-terrorism, and Systems Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and his Masters in Geospatial Intelligence from Penn State University. Kendrick’s interests include enjoying the great outdoors of Wyoming and spending time with his wife and their 7 month-old daughter.
