Wyoming Grown Initiative
Wyoming Grown, a Wyoming Department of Workforce Services program that connects individuals who have a desire to return to Wyoming with in-demand career opportunities for the State’s top employers.
Presenter: Carmalee Rose, Deputy Administrator of Business Operations at Wyoming Department of Workforce Services. She oversees the Agency’s Business Training Fund and heads its business outreach efforts. After spending 25 years in the financial industry, Carmalee brings a wealth of knowledge in areas of business relationship building, customer service, management, and finance. Carmalee holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration-Management from Regis University and is a graduate from Southern Methodist University Graduate School of Banking. She is very involved in the community with the Cheyenne Medical Center Foundation Board, Chamber of Commerce, Women’s Civic League, Cheyenne Frontier Days PR Committee, among the few. Born and raised in a small farming/ranching community in Nebraska, Carmalee moved to Cheyenne 30 years ago where she met and married her husband, Mauri. They have three grown children, three grandsons, and another grandson on the way in September.

- There will be a 50/50 raffle, with half of the proceeds going toward the SHRM Foundation. Tickets are $1.00/each or six (6) for $5.00.
