Presentation Overview: Starting a training program of any kind is exciting, difficult, and challenging, but also very rewarding.  In our time together, we will discuss the processes for determining need, defining scope, and developing training policies and procedures, as well as how to effectively gain buy in from organization leaders and processes for implementing a new program.  We will also discuss strategies for measuring effectiveness and using participant feedback to further develop and expand a program. We will discuss the ADDIE process for Instructional Design and participants will receive templates for customization.  Participants will also discuss the importance of, and strategies for, involving leadership teams in the process from start to finish.

Attendees will receive information and tools necessary to use when planning and developing an organization’s training program.  They will be able to leverage lessons learned and best practices to increase the success level of future training implementation projects.
